Whittlebury Event - 30/01/2010

Dear Julia,

Firstly, I apologise for the delay in replying to your e-mail - I don't work on Mondays so didn't want you to think I was ignoring you!!

As I said on Saturday night, Whittlebury Hall was truly the best Fam Visit I have ever attended. That is a very grand statement, because I've been attending Fam Visits for 15 years! The attention to detail was amazing and Paul and I would like to say a huge thank you to all those involved for all their hard work arranging such a fabulous event. I have been raving on to my colleagues all day about the event/venue and wish I had a £1 for every time I've said 'best Fam Trip ever' - they're all really bored with me now!

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. Check-in at Reception was friendly and efficient and although our room wasn't quite ready, we had a very short wait and Mark, The Ops Manager, escorted us to our room and he also was extremely helpful and informative. He made us feel like VIP's!

The bedroom was lovely - comfortable, spacious, nicely-furnished and extremely well-equipped. Thanks also for the Introductory Espa products box that was in our room - a lovely treat! The hilarious welcome letter from Mark Jones started the weekend in true style!

We settled in and than put on our robes and slippers and hauled our carcasses along to The Spa! What a beautiful Spa - I felt as though I had gone back in time to the Roman Era and had become a Princess!! The staff and facilities within the Spa are second-to-none and we spent 3 hours in there, relaxing and treating ourselves!

When we arrived for pre-dinner Champagne and Canapés, we couldn't understand why we were taken into the suite by table number. Imagine our surprise when we were taken to the function suite by Fire Engine!!

The entertainment was incredible. Snow queens, Girls on Stilts, Dancers, Gymnasts, Fire eaters, Break-dancers - they were all awesome and we were SO impressed how well it was all co-ordinated. We are certainly well aware of the scale of events you can host.

Generally, the facilities, staff and service at Whittlebury are second to none and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it to any of our clients. Would you please pass on my comments to Mr Jones and thank him for inviting us.

Thanks again and your initial invitation was truly the most understated invitation I have ever received to a spectacular evening!
